RESIDENT ADVISORY BOARD (RAB)
What is a RAB and what is its purpose?
A Resident Advisory Board refers to a board or boards whose membership consists of individuals who adequately reflect and represent the residents assisted by the GHA. The role of the Resident Advisory Board (or Resident Advisory Boards) is to meet with GHA management on a quarterly basis (4 meetings a year) to assist and make recommendations on the development of the PHA plan. The PHA Plan is a comprehensive guide to public housing agency (PHA) policies, programs, operations, and strategies for meeting local housing needs and goals.
